If you purchase some wide wheels you may find that when you lower your car onto them they will scrub on the arches. A simple way round this is to buy tyres which as slightly narrower than your wheel which results in a slight camber on the wheel allowing the top of the tyre to sit inside your arch. It also improves the look of the car if your wheels stick out.
